Tokenry.tools – Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 14, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Tokenry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website and services at www.tokenry.tools (the “Services”). As a decentralized platform that primarily interacts via wallet connections, our approach to data collection is minimal.
1. Information We DO NOT Collect
We are a no-signup platform. We do not collect, store, or require:
- Your name, email address, or phone number.
- Any personally identifiable information (PII) for account registration.
- Passwords or other login credentials.
- Your private keys or seed phrases from your cryptocurrency wallet.
2. Information We DO Collect (Minimal & Non-Identifiable)
When you use Tokenry.tools, we collect the absolute minimum necessary information to provide and improve our Services, which is generally non-personally identifiable:
- Blockchain Wallet Address: When you connect your cryptocurrency wallet to our Services, your public wallet address is visible on the blockchain. This address is used solely to facilitate interactions with our smart contracts for token creation. We do not link this address to your real-world identity.
- Transaction Data (On-Chain): When you create a token, the details of that transaction (e.g., token parameters, transaction hash, gas fees) are recorded directly on the public blockchain. This information is publicly accessible and is not stored by Tokenry.tools in a personally identifiable manner.
- Technical Data & Usage Information: We may collect non-identifiable technical information such as:
- IP Address: Used for rate limiting and security, generally not stored long-term or linked to an individual.
- Browser Type and Device Information: Helps us optimize our platform for different devices and browsers.
- Usage Patterns: Aggregated, anonymous data about how users interact with the smart contract functions (e.g., number of tokens created, most used blockchain networks). This data is used solely for service improvement and analytics and cannot be used to identify you.
- Cookies/Local Storage (Limited): We may use essential cookies or local storage only for the necessary functioning of the website (e.g., maintaining your session for wallet connection) or for anonymous, aggregated analytics. You can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, but this may affect website functionality.
3. How We Use Information (Minimal Use)
- To enable and facilitate the core token creation service you request.
- To maintain and improve the functionality, performance, and security of our Services.
- To analyze aggregated, anonymous usage patterns to enhance user experience (e.g., understanding popular token parameters).
- To comply with any legal obligations (e.g., if legally compelled to provide information about a specific public blockchain transaction, which is already public).
4. How We Share Information (We Generally Don't)
Given our minimal data collection, we generally do not share any personally identifiable information because we don't collect it.
- Blockchain: All token creation details you initiate are publicly visible on the respective blockchain network. This is an inherent feature of blockchain technology.
- Service Providers: We may use third-party services for website hosting, analytics (anonymous), or security. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations and only process data as instructed by us and consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe it's necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited non-personally identifiable information we process from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your own wallet and private keys.
6. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., blockchain explorers, wallet providers). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
